Built-In Reactive Loadbox and Silent Recording
The SABRE Signature 50 includes a built-in reactive loadbox that allows you to operate the amplifier without an external speaker cabinet when the speaker switch is set to OFF.
This is useful for recording at home, playing on silent stages, or connecting directly to a mixing console.
The balanced XLR output includes analog speaker simulation, so you can connect directly to an audio interface or PA system without using a microphone.
You can also connect a regular guitar speaker cabinet whenever you want.

IMPORTANT: When the speaker switch is in the ON position, do not operate the amplifier without a properly connected speaker load. Follow the owner’s manual for correct operation.
Clean Channel

The clean channel has a full, clear sound with plenty of low end and bright, bell-like highs.
It works well for everything from warm jazz tones to clean rhythm guitar.
Controls: Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, Master, and Tone.
FAT Switch: Adds more low end when you want a thicker clean sound.
Overdrive Channel

The overdrive channel has two gain modes.
Low Gain Mode
This mode gives you classic rock crunch and blues-style overdrive. You can adjust the gain for anything from a slightly driven sound to heavier rock tones.
High Gain Mode
The high-gain mode is based on the original MetalHead Marshall amplifier modifications developed by Elan Memran.
It delivers heavy distortion, long sustain, and a tight response without needing a distortion pedal.

Built-In Noise Reduction

High-gain amplifiers can produce unwanted hiss and noise.
The SABRE includes an adjustable noise reduction system developed for Elan’s original MetalHead high-gain circuits.
You can switch it on or off and adjust its sensitivity to suit your playing.
The system helps reduce unwanted noise while keeping the guitar’s sustain and response.
Independent Master Volumes
The clean and overdrive channels have separate master volume controls.
This makes it easy to balance the volume between channels.
You can also lower the amplifier’s playing volume for home practice without having to turn down the gain.
Channel Switching and Front Panel Controls

You can switch between clean and overdrive channels using the footswitch or front-panel controls.
You can also switch between low-gain and high-gain modes.
- Clean / Overdrive channel selection
- Low Gain / High Gain mode selection
- FAT switch, front panel only
- Noise reduction On/Off and sensitivity, front panel only
Active Tube Effects Loop

The SABRE includes an active tube-driven effects loop with Send and Return connections.
You can connect delay, reverb, and other effects through the loop while maintaining the amplifier’s natural sound.
Speaker Outputs and Impedance Selection

The amplifier supports 4, 8, and 16-ohm speaker cabinets.
Select the correct impedance for your speaker cabinet before operating the amplifier.
Analog Speaker Simulation Circuit

The balanced XLR output includes an analog speaker simulation circuit.
This allows you to connect the amplifier directly to a recording interface, mixing console, or PA system.
For silent operation without a speaker cabinet, the speaker switch must be in the OFF position.
